Iced Tea is one of the most popular summer soft drinks. But industrial drinks found in supermarkets often contain a lot of sugar, sweeteners and other flavouring agents… While with a good quality tea, the taste is much richer and you don't have to add any sugar!
To really bring out all the aromas of the tea, we recommend the ‘cold brew’ method, here is how to do it:
Fill a jar or a jug with water
Add 2-3 teaspoons of the tea of your choice for each litre of water and leave it to infuse at room temperature for 5 to 8h
Filter out the tea leaves and bottle your Iced Tea with some ice cubes!
You can of course infuse your tea using a tea ball / tea tongs rather than adding it to the water directly. And if you have some leftovers from a hot tea, you can always put that in the fridge!
