Homemade Popcorn

Preparation: 10 mins


Ingredients

100g Popping Corn

1 tsp coconut oil (or any vegetable oil)

1 tsp brown sugar (optional)


Utensils

1 saucepan with a lid

1 wooden spoon


Step 1

In a saucepan heat the coconut oil on medium until melted.


Step 2

Add the popping corn to the saucepan, stirring from time to time to coat the corn kernels with oil.


Step 3

When the first corn kernels start to pop, place the lid on the pan. Wait for about 5 mins, until the popping stops.


Step 4 (optional)

Remove the lid and add the sugar. Turn the heat down, stir until the sugar melts into a caramel.


Pour into a large salad bowl and enjoy your plastic-free snack!
