At Zéro we want to make it easy for everyone to embark on the zero waste journey. Our shop offers a very simple alternative to other, less environmentally-aware retail stores and gives consumers the possibility to obtain the same products with which they are already familiar but without unnecessary packaging. 

The Role

​We are looking for a part time shop assistant for our shop in Centre Court Shopping Centre in Wimbledon. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Providing excellent customer service at the till

• Helping our customers with any questions or queries about our store’s mission and environmental impact

• Helping our customers locate items around the store

• Ensuring the shop looks good and the shelves are well stocked and tidy at all times

• Merchandising and maintaining shop shelves

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:  

• A passion for environment protection, zero waste and sustainable living

• Experience in providing excellent customer service

• Flexibility to work weekends

• The initiative to identify tasks that need to be completed

• The drive to work hard and contribute to the success of the store

• Ability to engage with and inspire our customers 

• Previous retail experience would be beneficial 

• Ability to lift 25kg sacks is essential
